CONCERT LOG

a catalog of live music (2022-2024)

NAZA GRIZOL AND PIGEON PIT (Summer 2022)

stood 10 feet away from Circles Round the Moon and Love Letters. One guy climbed the cage. This concert was sort of everything.

INDIGO DE SOUZA (spring, 2023)

Went with a friend to this one. I played solitare between the sets.

Taylor Swift (spring, 2023)

Went with mom + sister. Biggest show I've ever been to - by far. Fun and slightly terrifying. Seeing Style live was a knockout.

Boygenius (Summer, 2023)

outdoor shows are my favorite. I listened Leonard Cohen for the first time, live at this show, and it's still my favorite song of theirs. Leonard Cohen, True Blue, Boygenius writes about friendship like a knife.

THE MOUNTAIN GOATS (Summer, 2023)

This might be the best show I've ever been to. The venue, the band, the people. They're amazing live. Singing This Year and Up The Wolves, with a whole crowd of people was amazing. The couple next to me was dancing during This Year.

THE FRONT BOTTOMS (Fall, 2023)

world's evilist crowd at this show. Doesn't change the fact that seeing Twin Sized Mattress live is in a class of its own.

BLEACHERS (Summer, 2024)

Jack Antonoff is one of a kind on stage. Full of energy, and some of the best crowd work I've witnessed. When I was dying for live music during quarentine, I was thinking about Bleachers. It was worth the wait.

Sidney Gish (Summer, 2024)

Never got into Sidney Gish as a 16 year old, which obviously means the universe was giving me something to look forward to as a 19 year old! I hadn't listened to much of her stuff before this show, but I loved it. Favorites - Midnight Jingle, Mouth Log, Rat of the City.

The Mountain Goats round two! + field medic (Summer, 2024)

Saw the Mountain Goats at the same venue, and almost definitley the same date as last summer. This could be a cool tradition. Field medic was great (powerful love live) and hilarious - tiny boombox filled the role of the band. The goats were great - I think this is one of the last shows Peter Hughes played. Opened and closed with the Legend of Chavo Guerrero.

Waxahatchee and Snail Mail (Fall, 2024)

Love love love!! Waxahatchee was one of my favorite new artists that I discovered in 2024 (third most listened to artist), her lyricism is amazing. Great venue. got very excited when Hurricane came on.

Maggie Rogers (Fall, 2024)

Almost didn't make it to this show, but I'm so glad I did!! Another one of my favorite new finds this year. My number 2 most listened to. Anywhere with you, Override, Love you for a long time, So sick of Dreaming. Maggie Rogers can dance!! At the end of the show she took a second saying "I want one more look at you" and the stadium was quiet, and I want that feeling to last.
