VERSION HISTORY

history of a website

v1 (January, 2023)

notes from the future: really into it actually. I was using floats before flexbox. I was using caveman tools. But the core of the site was there.

v2 (March, 2023)

notes from the future: Was it a nightmare to update? yes. Was I losing to the battle and the war to position:relative everyday? also yes. That's the price I paid for a very, very cool layout.

v3 (September, 2023)

notes from the future: getting into minimalism - cool.

v4 (January, 2024)

notes from the future: coffee.

v5 (March, 2024 - September 2024)

notes from the future: hello latest corpse.I liked this one a lot, but it could be annoying to update and getting the footer responsive...eek. I love the grid layout. I love squares.

Conclusion

Thank you to the Wayback machine, for saving me from going through my own file system. It's been cool to go through these and see that designs change but the vibe stays the same. I know some people look about on their old code and wince, but I'd say I've been killing it since day 1.
